History Of Trademark: Mazda

Jujiro Matsuda – a Japanese businessman – established Mazda Company in 1920. The financial basis of vehicle building was the money obtained from selling material for corks. In 1927 the company started industrial manufacturing and changed its name to Toyo Kogyo., Ltd. In the 30-ies Mazda motorcycle took a prestigious place in races. In these years production of cargo trucks was started.
In fact, one of the most popular models of Mazda – R360 – was one of the first considerable successes of the company. It was a 2-door auto equipped with 2-valve engine. In the 80-ies the company made a decision to open its representations in USA and Europe. More info: Mazda Georgetown
