An oncologist is a person who studies oncology, which is the study of tumors. They may diagnose any type of cancer, give therapy such as chemotherapy, surgeory, and radiotherapy, check on successfully operated upon cancer patients, conduct pallative care on terminal cancer patients, and screenings on the population and relatives of patients. An oncologists may use several methods to diagnose a person with cancer. Some of the methods are biopsy, endoscopy, some sort of radiological method, nuclear medicine, and blood test.
